WILKIE LEXUS

At the time this family-owned Lexus dealership hired a team to develop a secure storage facility on a newly purchased parcel of land, they were leasing seven area parking lots to accommodate vehicle inventory. Costly, time-consuming and extremely inconvenient, this new structure would need to maximize capacity while being operationally efficient for daily dealership activities. Located on Philadelphia’s Main Line, aesthetics were also an issue. F&E installed 67 hydraulically operated QUAD-LIFT systems (short and tall) in a tandem configuration of two, back-to-back rows. Wilkie’s own staff developed an iPad app to manage the inventory.
ART IN MOTION / TEAM SLR MOTORSPORTS

When the father-son motorsports team of Scott Lagasse Sr. and Scott Lagasse Jr, decided they wanted to renovate a 1978 building in North St. Augustine to house their racing operations and a vintage race car museum, they were challenged with getting enough space for dozens of vehicles, a public museum, and their racing operations on a tight building site. The lift had to not only work reliably but blend in with the décor of a vintage building design and eliminate the need for a costly elevator shaft.
The solution was a custom Mezzanine Lift that raises and lowers vehicles over 16’ from floor to floor using a single vehicle platform suspended from a spooling cable system. The lift also provides a dramatic visual event, as cars can be lowered from the upper area, appearing to “float” in midair. The Harding Steel lift design blends function, economy, and aesthetics into a simple, yet vital element for the building.
MIRABELLA

Valet parking is one of many amenities available to residents of the Mirabella, a luxury retirement community. While there is immediate proximity to public transportation and availability of Mirabella town cars, many residents keep one or two cars in the tower’s below-grade lot equipped with Harding Steel's Parklift lift systems. The system is efficient and in keeping with an expectation of personal service at the Mirabella — residents call ahead to have an assistant retrieve their vehicle.
